PILLAR’s Mission Minute

Jacob Stanley

Jacob has been a Roadway Monitor with PILLAR for the past two years.

In April, Stacy Edmonds nominated him as our Mission Minute recipient for living our second value—treating those we encounter with respect, honesty, integrity, and fairness.

“Jacob is always someone who volunteers to help and is willing to do what is needed to get the job done.” -Stacy

“PILLAR’s values aren’t just great for what we do at work but for our personal lives as well. Hands down the best work environment I’ve ever been a part of.” -Jacob

Luke Brown

Our VDOT Contract Monitor, Luke, will celebrate his 11th anniversary with PILLAR in November. Nominated by Daryll Stevens, he is our October Mission Minute recipient for exemplifying our fourth value:

Sustain excellence by continuing to develop technology solutions and delivering the highest quality work.

“Luke requires everyone to maintain high value in their work and encourages creative problem solving to accomplish the job.” – Daryll Stevens, Roadway Monitor

“I enjoy the challenges and obstacles that come with helping VDOT keep roadways open and safe in emergency and maintenance situations.” –Luke Brown, VDOT Contract Monitor
