Duties
PILLAR, Inc. is seeking a candidate to provide support to our asset management team in assisting the VDOT Richmond Bridge Division as their Ancillary Structure Program Manager. It is required the candidate be familiar with bridge inspections in accordance with VDOT’s IIM-S&B-78 Bridge Safety Inspection QC/QA Program, has taken the 2-week NBIS course, the ancillary course and any latest refresher courses. Qualifications of the candidate can be through professional licensure (PE registered with Virginia), 5-10 years related experience, applied degree, NICET or combination of applied degree and experience in addition to the noted courses as specified by the NBIS. Duties include scheduling and managing the ancillary structure inspection program. From time to time this may include performing or supervising field inspections, data entry, and personnel management. This position is full-time (40 hours per week), typically during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Project assignment duration is expected to be at least 12 months. Candidate will report to and work out of the VDOT Richmond District Office daily.

Duties
PILLAR, Inc. is seeking a candidate to provide interim support to our asset management team in assisting the VDOT Richmond Bridge Safety Inspection Team as a team member. It is preferred the candidate have knowledge of bridge components and familiarity with NHI and NBIS inspection standards. Work week will consist of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically during normal business hours. Project assignment length is expected to be 3 to 6 months or until the position is filled directly by VDOT. Candidate will report directly to the VDOT Richmond District Office for daily inspection assignments.
